Sound Redesigns

Arcane: League of Legends

I've been wanting to get more experience with sound design and decided to do a redesign recently. For this redesign I was given a clip from "Arcane: League of Legends" to work with.

The first step of this process was spending a few days recording materials around the office. Nothing was off limits as long as it sounded interesting! We did wooshes with all sorts of different objects, rattled carts, made goop noises with lotion, and bowed all sorts of objects. One of the goals with this redesign was to not use a single library asset if possible, and I nearly succeeded. The only library assets used were leather creaks and footstep foley, due to not having materials on hand.

After finishing up the recordings it was cleanup and processing time. After a few days in RX our multi day recording session was ready to go.

All of the editing and designing was done in Reaper! Pretty happy with how it turned out, and I'm excited to keep doing more of these!
